About DPRN

Serving the Internally Displaced People of Burma (Union of Myanmar)

DPRN (the Displaced Persons Response Network) is an independent, non-profit organization committed to promoting the rights of the displaced and to finding durable solutions to their problems by engaging with relevant authorities and parties in order to provide protection, humanitarian assistance and develop self-reliance initiatives.

DPRN is committed to humanitarian action in an emergency and non-emergency context, protection of the welfare of displaced persons, and reinforcement of self-reliance initiatives.

DPRN strives to promote the rights of the displaced and to find durable solutions to displacement through active engagement with affected communities, relevant authorities, and a comprehensive network of non-government and community-based organizations.

In the United States, DPRN is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (tax id: 26-1342974).
